OTP up first for Hercules

JS Hercules have been preparing themselves for another season of Third Division football, Kolmonen, as Tuesday 23rd April will see the club face city rivals OTP on the playing fields at Heinäpää. Herkku then faces FC Sääripotku of Kokkola a bit over week later in their first ever game at the Kokkola Santahaka sports facility on Saturday 4th of May in Regions’ Cup 2nd round. Whilst many of the league games will feature local teams from the Oulu region, Hercules will have to endure a mammoth 640km-round trip when they travel to Lapland to face Kolarin Kontio, the fixture penciled in for Saturday 31st August.

In Division Five, Herkku-Papat will have to wait until May 16th before facing their first opponents in the shape of  Oulun Reipas, whilst Hercules Academic kick off their season three days later when they host Pattijoen Tempaus on Sunday 19th. Hercules Ladies complete the set when they welcome Laivakankaan Futis Klubi of Jääli to their Pateniemi home on Tuesday 21st May.
