JS Hercules started the year 2012 by sealing a contract with Ari Koski for the head coach position of the JS Hercules first team. Rovaniemi born 27-year-old Koski is a hungry, open minded young coach that JS Hercules was looking for.

Mr. Koski has started his football coaching career in 2002 with FC Lynx D-junior team. His latest team before JS Hercules was B junior team of Rovaniemen Palloseura (RoPS). Koski has been concentrating fully on his coaching career after his own footballer days ended in 2007 due several knee operations. He is highly educated coach with a coaching degree from the Lapland Sports Academy. He also holds the UEFA B coaching licence.

Besides being the head coach of JS Hercules, Koski also continues to work with junior footballers. Tervarit Juniorit will also enjoy Mr. Koski's services as he takes over Tervarit -01 junior team.
