JS Hercules chairman Mikko Perälä and member of the board Panu Halonen travel on Monday to India to visit Chennai City FC management and to discuss how to activate the partnership between the clubs.

There are way too many examples of partnerships in the football world that exist only on paper. The one between JS Hercules and Chennai City FC intends to be a delightful exception in this regard. There are three main categories in which the clubs are planning to start to cooperate.

  1. Football development (players, coaching, management)
  2. Social impact in local communities using sports as a tool
  3. Innovation commercialization between Finland and India

From Hercules point of view football can open a whole new chapter for our club, scale up the impact of our social projects and boost trade for our business partners. After the first week in Chennai, hosted by the CCFC’s owner Rohit Ramesh, we are able to see a concrete road map what kind of shape our future cooperation will take.

It’s all very, very exciting!!
